The 256×6 Series Flat Saddle Threshold is welded to achieve a 12″ width. It’s designed to span a given area, usually under a door. It has a height clearance of .5″ which aids in insulating a room and creates a smooth transition between two floor surfaces. It’s barrier-free, fire-rated, and certified by BHMA and UL10C. Various finishes are available.
